An Unwelcome Visitor[Artemis, joining?]

Goro padded on slowly, hesitant in meeting any other wolves. He had smelled the border but only realized he had crossed it about 5 minutes earlier. The large brute strode carefully trying not to disturb the ground or leave traces he was there. If anything he was trying to find the way out of the territory even with the intriguing scent of others like him. He took another step and tripped over a root, falling flat onto the ground. The groan let out was loud and quite disturbing even thought he was trying to stay quiet.

Heaving himself up again he rotated his head to the left and right making sure no one was there. His paws ached from the nonstop traveling he was putting himself threw and he decided to take a moment to rest and see to his cracked pads. He licked their sore surfaces gently twitching slightly when he licked them to roughly in spots. The self absorbed brute then turned to grooming him self, not even paying attention to the world around him. He lifted his head sharply and his ears wheeled around on his head as a twig snapped.

The pale she-wolf's lips curled back as a scent drifted to her, ner nose bending down to the borders she had claimed. Another had paced past her marked territory and such was an offense the regal lady was not about to forgive so openly.

Trailing quickly after the nomad, her hackles bristling and her muzzle lifted high in dominance, Artemis realized the offender had not made it far before she came across him.. just in time to watch him heave himself up from what appeared to be a rather vicious face plant. Amusement might have flashed across her features had she not been so irate, and as the male took a moment to clean himself on Nightsong Ridge lands a low snarl escaped her lips as they pulled back, revealing her canines.

"You're on claimed territory," she murmured, prowling forward as she regarded the male coldly, not once concerned that the brown wolf was larger than she; if she could not defend her lands she had no right leading them. "Leave."

Goro pulled back his head sharply at the female's flashing fangs, yet a smile spread across his face. He fought the urge to laugh and coughed slightly. "I'm terrible sorry if I have trespassed, see as I am unfamiliar with these lands. I was just passing through on my way across, and meant no disrespect. I was meaning to leave when I noticed the markings about this area, but I see that you are here which means I must have not been going the right way to exit your grounds," he said speaking in a casual tone.

The male looked over the fea once to size her up, already suspecting this fem was not one to under estimate even though her size. He had meet many an assassin who where of her size and could easily out match him, and by her stance he already suspected that her rank be alpha or beta. Goro politely lowered his tail more, but kept his head level. His pride in himself one of his major influences in disrespecting others. "Before I disembark from this area may I ask thy name?" he asked slipping into old english he had learned in hoping to empress the fea before he left.

His smile was not missed by the she-wolf, and the pale female lashed her tail with irritation to his obtuse behavior. At his apology of trespassing, a sneer smoothed across Artemis' usually pretty features. "Your nose is broken then," she snarled unkindly, another growl bubbling within her throat as she took a step toward him. She did not fear the male who was larger than her, nor did she find him amusing.

Only when the wolf lowered his tail slightly did she allow her snarling to desist, though the hackles along her fur bristled dangerously as she readied to chase the beast out of her territory. His head was still a little too high for her liking, and she couldn't wait to bite the smug expression from his features. "Artemis," she responded coldly, her green eyes regarding him once more. "Now leave."

Goro's face went blank at her snarl and he listened intently to her words. "That's a very nice name, though that growl of your is hardly fitting for a lady of your standard. My name is Goro Itsuki," he said slightly tilting his head. He lowered his tail tell it swayed quietly against his legs. " Surly you would spare a moment to tell me about the range of this territory so I may steer clear of it in the future?" he asked with a slightly lowered head.

His eyes paced the fea named Artemis in front of him as he waited for her response. He could tell the irritation in her voice, and how she stood. For a she-wolf her stance was rather strong and his guess of beta or alpha went strait to alpha. He lowered his eyes and adverted hers quietly now that he was about ninety percent sure of her status. Her muscles seemed well toned under her coat as his eyes wondered again tell he remembered what situation he was in again.

She hadn't asked or cared for his name, yet he offered it anyway. The brute clearly was not taking the message she was sending him; he was trespassing, and his blatant disrespect was unbecoming of the cinnamon wolf. Her tail arched as his lowered, the pristine ivory only speckled with sparse bits of ebony and her green eyes flashed at him dangerously though she made no comment to his words.

"This pack has claimed Nightsong Ridge. Our lands rise almost as high as the mountain just north of here, and we have claimed the sparse bit of woods on the foothills." There was a small pause as she debated him momentarily, unimpressed with the wolf who had to be told about where her lands were rather than scent out the borders himself. "Once your paws find the flatter valley terrain once more you are a respectable distance from our borders."

Goro nodded shifting his weight as he started to turn then glanced back at her. "Best wishes to the prosparity of your pack your alphess, and I will pass on the word of no trespassing here to others as well," he said. He turned back his head away from her and started off in the direction he came from, his sturdy and combersion body making a rather quiet retreat through the woods.

This time he would make sure he was clear of the borders and far enough that he wouldn't be looked down upon by the wolves here, seeing as they where such a strikt bunch. I thought poped into his head and a masculine grinn spread across his face as he continued to walk forward through the alpha Artemis' land. It wouldn't hurt to bring a bit of prey by to the borders of her lands once in a while. By the smell they must have a bit of young with them. Oh and how dare she insult my nose, it's just like an alpha to take it that far and insult me. Oh well I got what I came for in confurming the lands and where abouts about the alpha here_______The brute thought to himself, because despit his appearance he was rather intellegant and that was one thing you should never underestimate.

Her eyes watched him, offering a curt nod to his words. He was a handsome fellow -- something she hadn't missed, but hadn't given much thought to until he turned to leave. Waiting a few moments, the regal she-wolf trailed after him, though such a distance back that he never did come back to view.

Only when her paws hit the edge of her territory and she noted his scent went past her lands did she release a soft sigh, giving her black-tipped muzzle a quick shake before turning, her lissome figure maneuvering back to the heart of her lands.

occ: oh its fine. I'm going to post once more just for a short rap up, and maybe Artemis will run into him again later. And you being gone is okay as long as you get in a post at the end of the week lol.

The brute stopped at the edge of the alpha Artemis' land and glanced back again. He wondered if she would follow him to the edge or not but soon he let out a compliant sigh. He stepped over the border and headed forward once again not aware of the fea that had, just moments after he had left from the borders, followed him all the way to the borders.
