[Twi]The dying fury of the silent one

[Micci]

The flowers around her were so bright that they seemed to glow and she giggled softly to herself as she batted at one of them. There were colours from red to purple to blue yet yellow was the most prevalent. It was as if there were bright glowing fireflies floating on the green stems... in the day time. She supposed this was why the meadow was called Firefly meadow. It was truly beautiful and filled with life: she could smell the rabbits that had hopped through and around, the bugs buzzed passed her fervently and even the birds were alive with energy today. She grinned, her white teeth a contrast to her dark fur.

The sun shone down with the it’s dying fury, soon its heat would give over to the coldness of winter but for now it was still in control. If she had looked deeper she would have seen that despite the colours of the flowers they were wilting and that the creatures around her were preparing for winter.

[Twi]

Ears twitching at every sound, Larius went through the Firefly Meadow. No responsibilities, he was just looking for something to snack on. Instead he found something better...A female.

"Ma'am? Yes, hello! I'm Larius Dytan, but if that is a mouthful just Larius will do, and you are?"

[Micci]

The silent female grinned and stepped closer to the male, her head cocking suggestively. It was season was it not? Would it be so wrong for her to indulge, to have a few young? She never spoke though so that would be interesting. Yet with a rasping voice she uttered her name
“Lithium”

[Twi]

Larius smiled as the female said her name. He quickly took a deep sniff. It seemed as if it was only her, but he wanted to get more on her. "What brings you out here on your lonesome." Larius rolled onto his belly and looked up to her but did not move to stand. He pressed on, however, standing up and daring to approach her far more closely. Taking in her scent, he didn't leave it to vast subtleties but remained horrifically obvious at the same time. "You must have a partner! Why would anyone leave a beauty like you all alone?"

[Micci]

She circled him slowly, curiously. He was trying to charm her on a decision she had already made. With a chuckle she spoke once more, “I don’t speak dear one, now why would i have a male?” her raspy voice should have being enough evidence of this yet she would not point that out.

“Why would anyone leave a male like you alone?” She chuckled, “You and i, we are after the same thing. I wish to continue my genes you wish... well let’s leave that unsaid. Am I not correct? Are we then not wasting time?”

[Twi]

Larius was impressed. This female was after, well, what he was after..kinda. "I harbor no love and I will admit to my lust. I harbor no lies though my truths will not last. I but a silver tongued wanderer who cannot stay in one place and whose heart forever yearns for the next companion, time and time again. This is all I am and all I shall ever amount to." He shuffled his paws as he told the truth.

"And to answer you, yes. I believe we are wasting time." Larius moved closer. "Shall we?"

[Micci]

She cocked her head with a grin and then stepped forward to nuzzle him, walking sensuously. ”Then let me be one of your more enjoyable partners” she whispered into his ear before licking his muzzle and stepping back. A curious grin on her face, ”of course dear one” she said all to seductively.

Later, as the their coupling had finished, Larius had not left as quickly as he normally did. Instead he started to groom her. "Lithium, I would be happy for you to be one of my partners." He got up after sitting for a bit. "I think it's best if I go now." Larius said and started to turn away. After all, he was quite impressed. This was the first female that had known his intentions and had shared the same emotions. He hesitated in his leaving and sort of wanted to stay, but he knew he couldn't.

(Hmm...Larius and Lithium should get together more often.)

She nodded, grinning in a dreamily way. Her head was on other things rather than his words. She curled into a ball yawning and watched him with half-closed eyes. If her mind had being less fogged she would have agreed with him more avidly but these kinds of exploits always relaxed her a bit too much.
